Mobile App Development

Native apps, built to pass review and stay fast

When an app needs the camera, offline use, background location or genuine speed, native is the right answer. We build it and get it through App Store review.

Capabilities

What this covers

iOS development

Swift and SwiftUI apps built to Apple’s guidelines so review does not become a surprise.

Android development

Kotlin apps that behave properly across the range of devices your customers actually use.

Offline first

Apps that keep working with no signal and sync cleanly when the connection returns.

Device features

Camera, GPS, Bluetooth, biometrics, push notifications and payments.

Backend and APIs

The server side your app needs — accounts, sync, notifications and admin.

Store submission

We handle listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and the review process.

Deliverables

What you get at the end

Built so your team can run and extend it without us. That is what a good handover looks like.

  • Apps live on the App Store and Google Play
  • All source code in your repository
  • Backend and admin tools
  • Store listings, assets and privacy declarations
  • Crash reporting and usage analytics

Typical technology

Chosen per project against what you already run and what your team knows — never out of habit.

  • Swift
  • SwiftUI
  • Kotlin
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • Firebase

Ways to start

How to get started

Start small. A fixed-price first step gives both sides real information before anyone commits a build budget.

1–2 weeks, fixed price

Scoping

Screens, technical plan and a costed build. Yours to keep.

10–16 weeks

Build and launch

Both platforms built, tested on real devices, submitted and approved.

Monthly

Maintenance

iOS and Android release yearly. Someone has to keep up, and it can be us.

Questions

What people ask about mobile apps

Anything else, email hello@voxalone.com.

Should we go native or hybrid?

Native if performance, heavy device use or offline reliability matter. Hybrid if you want both platforms sooner and cheaper. We will recommend hybrid when it is the better answer, even though it is the smaller job.

What if Apple rejects the app?

We build to Apple’s guidelines and handle the submission, which is what keeps rejections rare. If one happens, dealing with the response and resubmission is included — it is not billed as extra work.

Who owns the app store listings?

You do. Apps are published under your own developer accounts, so you are never locked out of your own product.

Do we need to maintain it after launch?

Yes. Apple and Google release new versions every year and will eventually stop accepting old builds. Budget for a few days of maintenance a year at minimum.
